This course instructs attendees on the proper use of benchmarks and how to compare their practice with national figures. An introduction to the AAO online Benchmarking Project will be included. At the conclusion of this course, attendees will be able to
- Understand the proper use of benchmarking in their practice;
- Apply benchmarks to their specific situation;
- Help their practice improve using national benchmarks; and
- Access and use the AAO online benchmarking site.
