AAOE Program of the 2010 Joint Meeting
The AAOE program begins on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010. Preview this year's program in a variety of formats:
  • Get a sneak peek at this year's courses and events through the Joint Meeting Scheduler (PDF 1,694K). Use the Overview, Programs-by-Day and Calendar pages to get a head start on planning your schedule.

  • Browse the Virtual Advance Program brochure to print selected pages, search by keyword. The Practice management/AAOE program begins on page 97.

  • Use real-time program searches with the robust new Joint Meeting Program Search (formerly “Online Program”). Get direct access to the Academy’s database for real-time information on educational events and tours.

The AAOE Program is developed around key competencies to provide our valued members with the most relevant and reliable information needed to manage a successful practice. Registration and Housing Now Open
Members and nonmembers may now register online and secure housing for the AAOE Program of the 2010 Joint Meeting. Booking online is most efficient, with immediate confirmation provided.

Aug. 4 Early registration deadline; fees increase after this date
Aug. 25 Last day to register by fax or mail; last day to cancel; last day to register and have your badge and materials mailed to you before the meeting
Sept. 22 Last day to preregister. Badge and materials must be picked up onsite.

The 2010 Joint Meeting Exhibition, the world’s largest exhibition of ophthalmic technology, products and services will be held at McCormick Place, Hall A, from Saturday, Oct. 16 through Tuesday, Oct. 19. Plan to visit the AAOE Practice Management Center in the new and improved Academy Resource Center (Booth #2344):

  • Academy experts will be on hand at the Coding Booth to give straightforward answers to your most challenging questions.
  • Preview practice management/coding resources and products for your office.
  • Conversations with the Experts — Select consultants from the AAOE Consultant Directory will be at the Resource Center. Make an appointment for a free 20 minute one-on-one private consultation. A schedule will by posted in mid August. Contact Peggy Coakley at 415.561.0561 or e-mail pcoakley@aao.org to reserve time with a consultant.

Exhibition Hours:
Saturday to Monday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
